Hot water units can provide hot water and steam to any job site.  There are several effective, efficient, and high-performing options that can provide what you need.  Mobile, variable power sources, and durable models are all available to provide hot water.  Here is everything you need to know about the different types of hot water units that are available from Bozeman Distributors.

All Electric Hot Water Unit

The All-Electric units provide hot water and/or steam, with no emissions and no fumes.  This efficient, on-demand heat exchanger creates continuous hot water or steam as needed.  A timer can provide automatic starting and stopping.  The diagnostic control panel helps you to keep it operating and performing optimally.  With a safety high limit switch, low water shut down, and hour meter, you can be sure that this unit will operate efficiently and safely.  Explosion-Proof Electric models are also available for Industrial, Off-Shore, and Petro-Chemical industries.

Electric Powered with Multi-Fuel Heat Options

The Electric powered units are normally stationary but can also be portable if multiple electric power sources are available.  Heating options include natural gas & propane, with diesel/kerosene being the most popular.  The units have adjustable pressure and temperature controls with a direct-drive or belt-drive triplex pump and an electric motor.  Several options are available to make the unit more user–friendly and efficient, such as an Automatic On/Off timer with a pressure-activated trigger gun control, remote On/Off control, adjustable thermostat, and an hour meter, for timely maintenance.

Gasoline Powered with Multi-Fuel Heat Options

The Gasoline powered units are the most popular, due to their portability and range of flow and pressure from either direct-drive or belt-drive triplex pumps.  Diesel engines are an option.  The 12v burner requires no electricity.  The burner is powered by the charging system of the engine.  As with the Electric Powered models, the available options make the unit more user-friendly and efficient, such as the adjustable thermostat, steam option, high-pressure soap, and an hour meter, for timely maintenance.

Hot Water units require a larger investment and require more maintenance than a cold water unit. Having the correct tools to do the job makes the task easier to complete and the worker more efficient.
