You have many options when it comes to selecting a generator.  The most important thing to consider is how you are going to use your generator.  Whether you simply need a generator to power your home in case of a power outage, would like to add some comfort to your tailgate or camping trip, or need extra power for commercial or industrial use, Winco generators provide the quality and reliability that you expect

Power and mobility are two key considerations you need to make when selecting a generator.  You need enough bandwidth to handle the tasks at hand but not at the expense of making transporting your generator from site to site a hassle.  When it comes to mobile diesel generators, Winco offers several benefits, let’s take a closer look.

Winco Generator Benefits

Winco generators offer their users a variety of benefits.  Their 4- position voltage selector allows you to use only the power you need, making the generator more efficient.  The HPS Line offers a Tri-Fuel Option.  The engines are factory set-up to run on Gasoline, LP (Propane) or Natural Gas with the flip of a switch and selecting the fuel source you want to use.  By using LP or Natural Gas, you will have a reduced output compared to gasoline; however, it provides the benefit of not having to use gasoline, which will degrade over time, even with the use of fuel stabilizers.  Each fuel source has its’ own advantages and disadvantages, based on the owners need and geographical location.  These generators also feature high single-phase output, meaning that it produces a single, continuously alternating voltage.

Diesel Generator Power

As mentioned earlier, Winco offers diesel powered generators.  This common fuel source is available at gas stations and can be easily transported in gas cans and other approved containers.  Diesel is a more efficient option, and it can be stored for longer periods of time before breaking down.  The additional power it provides combined with its efficiency allows Winco’s generators to perform at the highest level.

Mobile Generator Power

While most generators are easily portable, their ease of transportation comes at the expense of providing enough energy to power an entire home or business.  Smaller, portable generators can easily fuel appliances in case of a power outage, but Winco’s mobile generators have the capacity to keep an entire home, business, or construction site running.

PTO Generators

PTO (Power Take-Off) Generators produce power from an external engine source, such as, a tractor or auxiliary engine.  Most PTO Generators are tractor driven and have diesel engines.  This combination gives you a diesel-powered generator with a liquid-cooled engine.  The PTO Generators can be trailer-mounted or 3-Point Hitch Mounted.  The generators range from 10kw up to 165kw and require about 2 engine hp per kw output. (To run a 15kw PTO generator you will need a 30hp tractor or larger, based on the PTO hp, which is usually a little less than the rated engine hp).  With this setup, a transfer switch is normally required and should be installed by a qualified electrician.
